Since the introduction of Brexit, Shoping online on a UK website can be a nightmare, in all likely you will get charged customs, Yes they do check EVERY parcel.

All this is very easily avoided, just make sure you check exactly where the website is based. this should be available under terms and conditions, sadly a few UK sites have adopted .ie , this is very misleading and will result in a custom charge.
